Scaffolding arrives - Bricklaying slows down to make way. 15 to 18 October 2013

Well just when things were looking promising the whole site had to put tools down to allow the scaffolding to arrive. Long gone are the days of a couple of trestle's with some planks across them and the bricks balanced at one end.

We were amazed to see the structure go up and hide the house behind. The only thing we seemed to be missing was a lift. Well safety first we guess; and there is not much chance of falling off this structure !!

No sooner had the scaffolding arrived but the house wrappers were back to finish off the top of the house.

More bricks arrived as well.

All we need now is some bricklaying to finish it off !!
